Boxing
The art of punching: footwork, guard and combinations, from fitness boxing to competition.
About this sport
Boxing, sometimes called English boxing, is a combat sport where only the fists are used. Training teaches the fundamentals step by step: the stance, the guard, the footwork that keeps you balanced, then the basic punches — jab, cross, hook, uppercut — and their combinations. Sessions typically mix skipping rope, shadow boxing, heavy bag work, focus mitts with the coach and conditioning exercises. Sparring comes only later, always supervised and optional for those who box for fitness. Many people practice boxing without ever competing, simply for the complete workout and the technical learning. In Morocco, boxing has a long tradition and clubs exist in most cities, from neighborhood gyms to competition structures. A coach adapts the content to your goal, whether it is fitness, technique or preparing for amateur bouts.
