Cross-training
Mixed sessions combining strength, cardio and gymnastics movements, always varied.
About this sport
Cross-training borrows exercises from several disciplines and mixes them into complete sessions: a bit of weightlifting, some cardio such as rowing or running, and gymnastics movements like pull-ups, push-ups or jumps. No two sessions look exactly alike, which keeps motivation high and develops the body in a balanced way. The coach scales every movement, so beginners work with simpler versions and lighter loads while experienced athletes push further. Sessions usually include a warm-up, a skill or strength portion and a conditioning circuit, all within about an hour. This format suits people who get bored with repetitive routines and enjoy a group atmosphere. In Morocco, cross-training is offered in many gyms and dedicated studios, often as small-group classes supervised by a coach.
