HIIT
Short, intense intervals alternating effort and recovery, in 30 minutes or less.
About this sport
HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training. The format alternates short bursts of intense effort, typically twenty to sixty seconds, with brief recovery periods, repeated for a total session of twenty to thirty minutes. Exercises are often simple bodyweight movements such as squats, lunges, mountain climbers or jumping jacks, sometimes with light equipment like kettlebells or battle ropes. Because the sessions are short, HIIT fits easily into a busy schedule, but the intensity is real: a coach helps you manage the work-to-rest ratio, choose the right exercises and keep a safe technique even when tired. HIIT suits people who want an efficient workout without spending hours at the gym. Most gyms in Morocco offer HIIT group classes, and many coaches include interval blocks in their personal training programs.
